Took the old lad along to another charity show today. It's lovely weather, not too hot, no clouds in the sky, a nice Sunday for a drive and a hang out with classic cars.

I turned up late, apparently there was a huge turnout earlier in the day. Still, there were quite a lot of cars when I arrived!

It was a great turnout. I believe the pink ribbons were used as a crowd voting thing.

This is an Australian car, an Elfin. There's quite a few of them raced still.

There were actually three of these classic Datsuns, surprisingly.

I found a Bug cab too, the only other VW there. Incredibly clean Beetle, well cared for.

One person turned to his mate and said "Huh, I thought it was a Ford Escort!' They were talking about Frank :D

We didn't stay that long, but I did overhead one of the organisers say that Shannons (car insurance co) were running these events simultaneously across Australia. And if there was a big attendance, to expect to see this show bigger and better next year. Which is cool, might take the race car down next year :) That always draws a crowd.
