Frank's exhaust system was, shall we say, horrible. It sounded like a truck, and clanked and groaned as it was hanging down under the car not tucked in like the factory one. And it had holes in it, and the diameter varied from 2" to 3". Just awful and had to go.

I took Frank to see the wonderful people at Unique Exhausts in Bayswater, as they had done a superlative job on a Golf exhaust for us a few years ago. And they did not fail me when it came to creating a new exhaust for Frank!

Here's Frank at the shop.

The wizard who made Frank's exhaust told me he hadn't worked on a Passat B1 in many years, so he went on memory. Instead of one long tube hanging down under the car, now it's all tucked up and curving around things, and it's a work of art.
